APA reports quoting Volgograd province administration that the event is being held with the support of the Russian Presidential Administration and the President of Azerbaijan. More than 200 businessmen, NGO leaders, representatives of central and regional authorities are attending the forum.
The main plenary meeting of the forum will be held on June 6. As a part of the forum, round tables will be organized on economic partnership, development of humanitarian ties and the role of Azerbaijan and Russia in ensuring stability in the Caspian region.
At the end of the forum, an agreement will signed on measures to provide parallel work between the Russian and Azerbaijani energy systems.
Moreover, Volgograd province and Azerbaijan will sign an agreement on commercial-economic, scientific-technical and cultural cooperation.
