The U.S. official said the main principle of the US was to support sovereignty and independence of the countries, express Washingtonâ€™s support for the countries exporting energy and having transit opportunities.
â€œThe United States supports any project that will ensure safe transportation of energy resources to the world market. Technical provision of these projects, free transportation of the regionâ€™s energy carriers to Europe and the world market should be ensured,â€ he said.
Samuel Bodman expressed his gratitude to Azerbaijani President for inviting him to the summit and underlined that he was satisfied with the level of the cooperation between the two countries.
