Parliament Assembly Committee of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation Organization holds its 31st meeting in Baku

Baku. Elbrus Seyfullayev–APA. Economy, Trade, Technology and Environment Committee of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation Organization Parliament Assembly holds its 31st meeting at Azerbaijan’s Milli Majlis (Parliament) in Baku. Deputy Chairman of the Committee Asaf Hajiyev chairs the two-day meeting, APA reports. In his welcoming speech, Milli Majlis Vice Speaker Valeh Alasgarov said economic development of the countries depended on the stability particularly. He said those, who threatened peace over the past years achieved nothing.
The Vice Speaker said Azerbaijan achieved serious economic successes as a result of stability in the country. “Azerbaijan’s state budget increased for ten times over the past four years. Only this fact displays everything”.
The cooperation between the Black Sea Region and the World Trade Organization is discussed at the meeting. The Assembly will review the results of discussions at its meeting in November.
Head of the Milli Majlis Administration Safa Mirzayev, members of the Parliament Mubariz Gurbanli, Imanverdi Ismayilov and former lawmaker Shaittin Aliyev were rewarded with diplomas for their active participation in the organization’s activity.
