PACE Bureau welcomes President Ilham Aliyev’s latest pardon decree

Baku. Tamara Grigoryeva – APA. Bureau of the Council of Europe Parliamentary Assembly (PACE) has held a meeting today. Head of Azerbaijani delegation to PACE Samad Seyidov told APA that Georgian-Ossetian conflict had been mainly discussed at the meeting. Decision was made to set up a special group consisting of co-rapporteurs on Russia and Georgia and leaders of political parties for visiting the region. The situation in Georgia will be discussed in the fall session of PACE for two days. Samad Seyidov said PACE President LluÃs Maria de Puig addressed the meeting of the Bureau and briefed the participants about the outcomes of his visit to Azerbaijan.
