Press service of the Foreign Affairs Ministry told APA that Fayziyev submitted the copies of his credentials to Minister Mammadyarov and expressed satisfaction with his appointment as the ambassador to Azerbaijan. Uzbek ambassador conveyed congratulations on the 89th anniversary of nationwide leader Heydar Aliyev and underlined the important role of Heydar Aliyev in the development of Azerbaijan-Uzbekistan relations.
Minister Elmar Mammadyarov informed the guest that our country highly estimates the Uzbekistan’s support of fair position of Azerbaijan and said the relations in all spheres between the countries rapidly developed. After the meeting, Minister Elmar Mammadyarov congratulated the Uzbekistani diplomat on his appointment to post of ambassador to our country and wished him successes in his future work.
