Ali Hasanov does not exclude Azerbaijanâ€™s joining any bloc in the future

But, determination of any countryâ€™s own policy is not a verse of the Quran which is impossible to change itâ€, said the head of the social and political affairs department of the Presidential Administration, Ali Hasanov.

He noted that, domestic and foreign policies of each country, determination of its priorities were appropriated to national interests of its nation, sovereign state interests and security interests: â€œAzerbaijanâ€™s currency policy is to conduct neutral policy in the region and not to join the any opposite blocs, see Azerbaijan and South Caucasus as cooperation and partnership region and Azerbaijan conducts its policy in this directionâ€.

At the same time, Hasanov did not exclude Azerbaijanâ€™s joining any bloc in the future: â€œIf we consider that, joining the any bloc will serve to Azerbaijanâ€™s interests, restoration of territorial integrity, restoration of sovereign state rights, providence of its security in the future, Azerbaijani government, Azerbaijani population and political organizations will absolutely consider this issueâ€.
