Dinner organized in New-York by Azerbaijan, which chair UN Security Council - <font color=red>PHOTO</font>

Baku â€“ APA. On May 4, a dinner was organized in New York by the UN Secretary-General and Azerbaijan, which took over the Chairmanship of the UN Security Council, APA reports citing Azertag. Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon attended the dinner.

The head of state delivered speech at the dinner, thanked all the participants: â€˜We are together from the morning and have discussed a number of issues of international importance. Thank you all for contribution to our cooperation.

Today, we will continue our discussion over the issues of mutual interest. I am sure that these discussions will be in the spirit of cooperation and constructiveness. I would like once more to thank all the sides supporting us. Because, this is a portentous, even one of the most portentous events in our history. We start the chairmanship of the Security Council. I am very glad to be here and share such happy moments with our friendsâ€™.

UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon congratulated Azerbaijan on occasion of this event and wished successes in this regard.
