Vice Speaker of Azerbaijani parliament meets with Vice Chairwoman of Free Democrats Party

Vice Speaker of the Azerbaijani parliament Valeh Alasgarov met with Vice Chairwoman of the Free Democrats Party, member of the Bundestag Birgit Homburger, the parliamentâ€™s press service told APA. Valeh Alasgarov spoke about the development of the relations between the Azerbaijani parliament and Bundestag, said mutual visits, talks, effective cooperation of the parliamentarians in the international events play important role in the enhancement of the interparliamentary relations.

Vice Speaker gave information about Azerbaijanâ€™s dynamic development, participation in the large-scaled projects in the region, as well as its role in Europeâ€™s energy security.

Satisfied with the visit to Azerbaijan, Birgit Homburger said the aim of the visit is to develop the relations between the two countries, exchange views on enhancement of the interparliamentary cooperation. The guest highly appreciated Azerbaijanâ€™s achievements, role in energy projects and underlined that her country is interested in cooperation with Azerbaijan in all spheres.
