Minister informed the parliamentarians about the process of state-building in Azerbaijan and geostrategic importance of Azerbaijan for Europe. Speaking about Azerbaijan’s energy policy and role in the energy security of Europe, large-scale projects realized with the participation of Azerbaijan, Elmar Mammadyarov gave information about the consequences of the conflict, peace talks on the resolution of the conflict.
Elmar Mammadyarov also touched on Azerbaijan’s achievements in the foreign policy, underlined the enhancing relations between the UK and Azerbaijan. Minister also underlined Azerbaijan’s contributions to the restoration and development of stability in Afghanistan.
