Ziyafet Asgerov: â€œThe aim of the meetings held by the diplomats working in Azerbaijan with the forces seeking to violate stability is to incite themâ€

Baku. Kamala Guliyeva â€“ APA. â€œWhy do the diplomats working in Azerbaijan meet the forces seeking to violate stability not with the refugees or internally displaced people? So, the purpose is to incite these forces.
Diplomats have the right to meet anyone. But if the diplomats speak about the violation of socio-political stability in Azerbaijan it does not correspond to their status and is beyond ethnics,â€ First Deputy Chairman of the Azerbaijani Parliament Ziyafet Asgarov said commenting on the meeting of the diplomats working in Azerbaijan with the members of the Coordination Council of the Public Chamber, APA reports.

Asgerov said â€œIn general, such questions are envisaged in the Convention on the activities of the diplomatic missions. We donâ€™t regard it as a tragedy. Diplomats can meet and talk with anyone. But why do they meet only these people? They donâ€™t meet people from other categories. I would like these diplomats to meet refugees and internally displaced peopleâ€.

Asgerov underlined that they will not remain indifferent to these issues: â€œThatâ€™s why I address the representatives of the embassies in Azerbaijan: If such meetings aim at violating the socio-political stability it means interference in the internal affairs of Azerbaijan,â€ he said.
