Azerbaijani-Israeli relations stood test of the time, Avigdor Liberman

Baku. Victoria Dementieva-APA. A ceremony on the occasion of the State of Israelâ€™s 64th anniversary of independence and 20th anniversary of establishment diplomatic relations between Israel and Azerbaijan were held by Israel Embassy in Azerbaijan, APA reports.

Avigdor Liberman, Foreign Minister of Israel also attended the event. According to Israeli Minister during 20 years huge successes were achieved in cooperation between two states.
â€œIsrael-Azerbaijani relations stood test if the timeâ€, said Liberman.
Foreign Minister noted that Azerbaijan is tolerant state and Jewish people feel as at home and do not undergo pursuit in Azerbaijan.

Liberman stressed that Azerbaijan and Israel cooperate in energy, agriculture, medical water reserving and other fields actively. .

Attending the ceremony, Natig Aliyev Industry and Energy Minister of the Republic of Azerbaijan noted that todayâ€™s ceremony is additional proof for close relations between two nations and states. The minister noted that there is also a huge potential for the development of the relations between two nations. According to him relations between two states stepped up from formal relations to mutual trust and understanding level.

N.Aliyev also added that during 20 years of independence Azerbaijan overcame huge development distance.

According to Azerbaijani minister Israelâ€™s experience in the fields of information technologies, agriculture can be useful for Azerbaijan.
