Ambassador Elin Suleymanov meets OAS Secretary General

Baku-APA. Elin Suleymanov, Azerbaijani Ambassador to US and permanent observer of Azerbaijan to Organization of American States (OAS) met with the General Secretary JosÃ© Miguel Insulza of the organization, APA reports quoting Azerbaijani Embassy to United States.
The relations between Azerbaijan and Latin America and Azerbaijan-OAS relations were the priorities of the discussions.

Azerbaijani Ambassador noting the importance of the relations with OAS said that expansion of these relations would be beneficial for both sides.
The Secretary General also highly assessing cooperation with Azerbaijan thanked for support of Azerbaijan on different projects of the OAS.

The ambassador said that Azerbaijan was extending its diplomatic presence in Latin America and Azerbaijan Embassies function in Argentina and Mexico as well as Embassy would be opened in Brazil soon. According to Azerbaijani diplomat, all these show high value given by Azerbaijani leadership to the relations with region states.
