Azerbaijani President meets with NATO Secretary General in Brussels - <font color=red>PHOTOSESSION</font>

APA reports that NATO Secretary General welcomed the Head of State in front of the headquarters of the Alliance.

Ilham Aliyev and Anders Fogh Rasmussen were photographed by the flags of Azerbaijan and NATO.

Highly appreciating Azerbaijan-NATO partnership, Secretary General congratulated President Ilham Aliyev on the election of Azerbaijan as a member of the UN Security Council.

Underlining the importance of the confirmation of NATOâ€™s Individual Partnership Action Plan in terms of enhancement of Azerbaijan-NATO cooperation, Secretary General expressed his gratitude to our country for active participation in the peacemaking operations in Afghanistan.

He expressed his confidence that Azerbaijan-NATO relations will further enhance.

President Ilham Aliyev said our country will increase efforts towards enhancement of the NATO-Azerbaijan partnership.

He said Azerbaijan will continue activity towards integration into the Euro-Atlantic structures.

The Head of State underlined that NATO and Azerbaijan are closely cooperating in the peacemaking operations in Afghanistan.

President expressed his confidence that reliable partnership between Azerbaijan and NATO will further expand.

Following this, Ilham Aliyev and Anders Fogh Rasmussen made a joint statement for media representatives, answered journalistsâ€™ questions.
