Note that, recently, Armenian government expressed intention on restoration of Yerevan’s historical center: “If they really want restore former historical face of the city, we can give necessary photos and features to the Armenian sideâ€.
To him, Azerbaijan has a lot of pictures taken by famous European and Russian artists, as well as many features of former Yerevan city.
“In 1964, the Armenians, who wanted to create former Yerevan, ruined Khan Palace – one of the beautiful buildings in the Caucasus. As a result of the vandalism, XVI century castle in Yerevan was destroyed together with all buildings. Because, that monument was a masterpiece of Azerbaijani architectureâ€, added Akhundov.
