Polish-Azerbaijani cooperation is the cooperation above standards, said Bronislaw Komorowski

We are sure, this cooperation, these relations have natural character and now we have to explore new fields for our cooperation. Relations between Azerbaijan and Poland have to develop in economic field. Our relations are the relations between two states. Both countries gained independence almost at the same time and this brought freedom to us. We took wise steps for better independence as well as to have good base for economic cooperation. In fact this is not standard, this cooperation above standard. I want to direct your attention to some facts. These facts influence relations between Azerbaijan and Poland. As these facts are beyond frame of these relations. Azerbaijani-EU, European relations are included in it. As you know, Poland takes rotating presidency of EU. While, Poland decides for the agenda of the EU and defines directions for the relations with non-EU member countries. We know, Mr. President also will take part at the Summit in Warsaw. In fact, this meeting will be summit of the heads of the states participating at â€œEast Partnershipâ€ program. I want to say that Poland is interested in Azerbaijanâ€™s success. We would like Azerbaijan and EU have successful associative membership agreement negotiations. Because, the same principles and regulations have to tie us. It has very important role for future development of relations between West and Azerbaijan. We also touched cooperation in energy field. Poland once again states its interest to make a gift for delivering energy recourses. I consider this is very important not only for our country, but also for Europe. There is a project ratified by the European Union. In fact, this is for Odessa-Brody-Gdansk pipeline. This project is considered actual and I want to say that this project has rising importance. As we consider that here, most important are both political cases and issues grounded for business. As this issues are very important for this project. I would like to say that Azerbaijani oil enters oil-refineries and they are plants basing on polish capital. A million tons of Azerbaijani oil enters into oil-refineries every year. It enters our facilities but the plants locate in Czech Republic. It means you are near our borders. It means that we have to act so that to achieve solution of energy problems of our regionâ€, said Komorowski.
