The U.S. military has completed another wave of strikes against Iran, according to the U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM).
CENTCOM said in a post on X that, over a five-hour period, U.S. forces conducted strikes on Bushehr, Chabahar, Jask, Konarak, Abu Musa Island, and Bandar Abbas to further degrade Iran's ability to target commercial shipping.
According to the statement, U.S. forces used precision-guided munitions to strike Iranian coastal defense systems, missile and drone capabilities, and maritime infrastructure.
More than 50,000 U.S. troops are currently deployed across the Middle East. CENTCOM said American forces remain at a high state of readiness and are prepared to carry out assigned missions.
