The price of Brent crude oil futures for September delivery on London's ICE exchange exceeded $83 per barrel for the first time since June 16, according to trading data, APA reports.
As of 21:12 Moscow time, the price of Brent rose by 9.22% to $83.02 per barrel.
By 9:23 PM Moscow time, the price of Brent crude accelerated its rise and was trading at $83.47 per barrel (up 9.81%). Meanwhile, the price of WTI crude oil futures for August delivery rose 9.79% to $78.4 per barrel.
