Hoisting ceremony of Azerbaijanâ€™s flag held in Canadaâ€™s Toronto, Calgary and Vancouver cities

According to Azerbaijani Embassy to Canada, the event was held by the initiative of Azerbaijani Students Association of Toronto University.

Active of Association Isgender Gadirzadeh spoke about the history of Azerbaijan Democratic Republic. Thereafter, MP from Ontario, Monte Kwinter stressed the importance of 28 May for Azerbaijan and region.

Attending the event Azerbaijani ambassador to Canada Farid Shafiyev spoke about the activity of Community of Azerbaijan in Canada.

After speech, the flag hoisting ceremony was held under the playing of the national anthem.

Actives of Azerbaijani and Turk community also attended the event.

Note that, on the occasion of 28 May â€“ Republic Day, Azerbaijan flag hoisting ceremony was also held in Vancouver and Calgary cities,
