Azerbaijan also stressed it many times”, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs commented on the statement issued by the presidents of US, France and Russia in Deauville, APA reports.

The ministry officials said that the documents and principles, these countries based on, were discussed many times and every of these documents fundamentally focused attention on the withdrawal of Armenian troops from the occupied territories of Azerbaijan. “The Armenian shall understand that the international community will not accept the occupation of the Azerbaijani territories by Armenia. Armenia must withdraw its armed forces from the territory of Azerbaijan according to the logic of this statement. It will help returning the internally displaced persons to their homeland, restoration of communication and establishing the certainty in the region.

Azerbaijan’s position is unchanged and withdrawal of the Armenian armed forces and return of IDPs will create an opportunity to make next step towards the creation of useful conditions in the region. It will help co-existence of the Armenian and Azerbaijani communities in Nagorno Karabakh and determination of the status of this region within Azerbaijan. Armenia uses different ways to delay the withdrawal of its troops from the territories of Azerbaijan and prevents the peaceful solution to the conflict”.
