Armenia not admitted to European Studentsâ€™ Union

Baku â€“ APA. The 60th Board Meeting of the European Studentsâ€™ Union is being held in Tallinn, Estonia. The Azerbaijan Studentâ€™s Union told APA that about 100 representatives of 45 national studentâ€™s union form 38 countries attended the meeting. The workshops on the topic of financing of higher education were organized in the wake of Board Meeting on May 2-4 with the participation of studentsâ€™ union. Chairman of Azerbaijan Studentsâ€™ Union Elvin Aslanov attended both events.

At the first day of Board Meeting, the issue on Membership of Armenian National Students’ Association was submitted for discussion. Head of Azerbaijan Studentsâ€™ Union Aslanov drew the attention of participants to the situation in Armenia, Nagorno Karabakh and other issue. The Armenian National Students’ Association was not admitted to the European Studentsâ€™ Union after voting.

Within the meeting, Aslanov hold discussions with the representatives of some countryâ€™s national studentsâ€™ union on the topic of establishment of the cooperation.
