According to President Aliyev the transportation projects, infrastructure projects, which are implemented in the region of the Caspian and Black Sea, not only Azerbaijan and Ukraine will continue to communicate reliable transport routes, but also serve as a good basis for regional cooperation of the Caspian and Black Sea basins, as well as in the future - the Caspian-Black Sea -Baltic cooperation.

â€œThere are all prerequisites, and there is sufficient political will. These initiatives in energy, transport sector, in other areas of the two countries closer. We have to cooperate in the oil industry are planning to go to work in the gas sector. Was carried out policies of ethnic cleansing against our people, occupied 20 percent of our territory, and notwithstanding the decisions and resolutions of international organizations, such organizations as the United Nations - UN Security Council adopted four resolutions in connection with the occupation - however, the conflict still not settled, that represents a huge threat to regional peace, stability and does not allow for a full program of regional cooperationâ€ â€“ Azerbaijani President said.

â€Despite the difficulties, which carries the conflict, Azerbaijan continues to evolve rapidly, the economy grows, solved major investment projects. Only last year in our country’s economy was invested 15.5 billion dollars, most of it is domestic investment. We are actively considering investment projects in Ukraine, and for this there are financial resources and, most importantly, political will", - the Head of State said.

President Ilham Aliyev has emphasized the role of Ukrainians who live in Azerbaijan, the Azerbaijanis, who live in Ukraine, to strengthen our relationship. "Our Diaspora - is a natural bridge linking our two countries, two of our people. I am very pleased that the Ukrainians in Azerbaijan and Azerbaijanis in Ukraine feel comfortable, feel confident, feel at home and live as one family in their own countries and also seek to ensure that the relationship between Ukraine and Azerbaijan are developing actively, just as today", - said President Ilham Aliyev.
