OSCE Chairman-in-Office : “I will increase efforts to resolve the prolonged conflictsâ€

Viktoriya Dementyeva - APA. “It is crucial to overcome the current crisis of confidence between states to tackle new challenges and threats to securityâ€- the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office, Kazakhstan’s Secretary of State and Foreign Minister, Kanat Saudabayev, said today to the U.S. Helsinki Commission, APA reports citing OSCE press service. He informed the participants about the plans on human rights and freedom of speech within his OSCE chairmanship. Minister Saudabayev outlined the Kazakh Chairmanship’s priorities of enlarging cooperation with Afghanistan, increase efforts to resolve the prolonged conflicts in Dnestriya, Southern Ossetia, Abkhaziya and Nagorno Karabakh. He will visit Azerbaijan, Armenia, Georgia on February 15-18.
