Azerbaijani Foreign Minister thanks Iran for visa-free regime

Baku. Suleyman Farzaliyev â€“ APA. Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan Elmar Mammadyarov received Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Hasan Gashgavi in Baku. He congratulated the Iranian diplomat on 31st anniversary of the Islamic Revolution of Iran, Spokesman for the Iranian embassy Abbas Isgandari told APA.

The minister emphasized current warm relationship between the two countries, high-level relations in the political and economic fields and advocated strengthening of cooperation within the Economic Cooperation Organization. Mammadyarov thanked Iran for visa-free travel opportunities created for Azerbaijani citizens traveling to Iran and said Azerbaijan was also discussing the issue of visa-free regime for Iranian citizens. The minister called Iranian businessmen to make investments in Azerbaijan and welcomed Iran-loaned construction in Baku.

Hasan Gashgavi called Azerbaijan friendly and fraternal country for Iran and said Iran was always together with Azerbaijan.
