Iranian Deputy Minister: The issue of health certificates for the Azerbaijanis traveling to Iran is being discussed

Baku. Lachin Sultanova, Suleyman Farzaliyev – APA. The issue of health certificates for the Azerbaijanis traveling to Iran is being discussed, Deputy Foreign Minister of Iran Hassan Gashgavi said in Baku, APA reports.

According to Deputy Minister, visa-free travel for Azerbaijanis has been applied since February 1. He noted that there were some problems on border checkpoints in connection with this. Gashgavi said the Azerbaijanis wishing to travel to Iran might get health certificates in Baku, Ganja and Lankaran.

Hassan Gashgavi expressed his hope that Azerbaijani Health Ministry will make efforts to increase the number of such medical centers.

According to Gashgavi, the residents of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic have been traveling to Iran without visa, by getting health certificates for two years.
