European Committee for the Prevention of Torture to hold next monitoring in Georgia

Baku. Elbrus Seyfullayev-APA. European Committee for the Prevention of Torture is going to monitor jails in Georgia. Spokesman for committee in Azerbaijan Latif Huseynov told APA. He said that the European Committee for the Prevention of Torture would hold next monitoring in Georgia in line with EC: “I am inside this delegation as a member from Azerbaijan. Within monitoring jails, detention cells at police departments, interrogation cells, psychiatry institutions will be observed. The detention conditions of prisoners and behavior towards them will be examined. In conclusion, the report on the visit will be made and rendered to European Committee for the Prevention of Tortureâ€.
