Deputy Foreign Minister of Iran Hassan Gashgavi: The decision on abolition of visa regime will not be applied to the journalists from Azerbaijan - <font color=red>VIDEO</font>

Answering journalists’ questions on Nagorno Karabakh conflict, Deputy Minister said the problems of the region could only be solved by regional forces.
“Outside forces seek only their own interests in this issue,” he said.

Gashgavi has today participated in the opening of the new building of Iranian embassy in Azerbaijan. The consular, cultural and press departments of the embassy will be based in this building. Hassan Gashgavi said the aim of his visit to Azerbaijan was to participate in the opening of the new building of the new embassy, event on the 31st anniversary of Ayatollah Khomeini’s returning from France to Iran. According to the Foreign Ministry’s official, the decision on the abolition of visa regime for Azerbaijanis has been effective from today. He said he would hold meetings with Azerbaijani officials in Baku.

Gashgavi said the decision on the abolition of visa regime would not be applied to the Azerbaijani journalists.
“The visa regime is not abolished for journalists, they are to get visa to visit to Iran,” he said.

Hassan Gashgavi said Iranian Health Minister Marzieh Vahid Dastjerdi will visit Baku next week, the speakers of Azerbaijani and Iranian parliaments will meet next month.
