PACE President Mevlut Cavusoglu receives Azerbaijani delegation

Strasbourg. Fuad Gulubayli â€“ APA. President of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) Mevlut Cavusoglu received Azerbaijani delegation to PACE, APAâ€™s Europe bureau reports. Head of the delegation Samad Seyidov delivered Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyevâ€™s letter of congratulation to PACE President. Samad Seyidov said the election of a Turkish representative as PACE President caused resonance in Azerbaijan. He also conveyed the congratulations of speaker Ogtay Asadov and other officials.

PACE President said he was glad to get the letter of Azerbaijani President, whom he respected much, and expressed his gratitude to Ilham Aliyev. He assured Azerbaijani delegation that he would establish close contacts with the Azerbaijani parliament and the delegation to PACE, would do his best to improve Azerbaijan-CE relations, investigate the Nagorno Karabakh problem objectively and give unbiased information about it to the European parliamentarians.
