Baku – APA. President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, who is on a working visit to Switzerland, has met with the President of Latvia Valdis Zatlers on January 28 in Davos.The presidents have emphasized successful development of bilateral relations between the countries, APA reports.
Zatlers said he held fruitful meetings during his visit to Baku and added that the countries had good opportunities for extension of economic relations.
In his turn, the head of state said he supported further development of cooperation between the Azerbaijani and Latvian companies.
The presidents exchanged opinions about the regional cooperation, bilateral relations and international issues.
