Moscow – APA. Moscow-based Armenian Diaspora organizations called on Armenian government not to sign protocols with Turkey. They said it would lead to unexpected results for Armenia, APA reports. The Diaspora leaders suggested to the government to establish joint action mechanism for the national interests to avoid gap between Armenia and Armenian lobby. They said the protocols considered establishing of joint commission for investigation of “genocide” issue and recognition of Armenia-Turkey borders. “These documents are part of Turkish government policy. The process shows that Turkey made once more demand for signing of protocols and opening the borders. It is Armenian concession in the Nagorno Karabakh conflict. Turkey and Azerbaijan created mechanism of domination in the negotiation process and Ankara will make demands related to the Nagorno Karabakh and other issues in the different phases of Armenia-Turkey relations”. The protocols describing the Turkey’s demands will get an international status after the ratification, said the Armenian Diaspora and will turn into the cradle of international pressure on Armenia.
