Digital roadmaps have been prepared with 40 state institutions, and 13 of them have already been approved or are at the approval stage, Ramid Namazov, Chairman of the Temporary Commission of the Milli Majlis against Foreign Interference and Hybrid Threats, said during a public hearing on "Digital development, artificial intelligence and protecting children from harmful influences on social media platforms," APA reports.

He stated that the number of users of the MyGov platform has increased from 2.7 million to 3.5 million over the past three months: "Work is also underway on the creation of the National Data Lake, the migration of several services to the Government Cloud is continuing, and a new data center is under construction. In order to strengthen technological sovereignty, the establishment of the Azerbaijan Resilience Cluster has begun, and work is continuing on the creation of the National Security Operations Center, the National Cyber Incident Response Center, and the Digital Investigation Center, as well as on the establishment of a unified national cybersecurity platform that will ensure prompt information exchange between the public and private sectors. Speaking about the scale of legislative reforms, it was stated that this is a comprehensive and fundamental reform initiative aimed at regulating the digital ecosystem. The reforms cover such areas as legal certainty, a competitive tax environment, financing of innovations, talent attraction, and cybersecurity regulation. Among Azerbaijan's achievements in the field of digitalization, it is particularly important to note the launch of the Government Cloud, the registration of 4.8 million users for the SİMA biometric digital signature, and the country's rise by nine places to 74th among 193 countries in the United Nations E-Government Development Index, placing Azerbaijan in the category of countries with very high e-government development. There is no doubt that the results will be even better in the coming years," he said.
