The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) will not withdraw from the security zone for as long as necessary to ensure the safety of residents of the northern part of the Israel, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said at the graduation ceremony for Israeli Air Force pilots, APA reports.
"We will remain in the security zone in southern Lebanon for as long as necessary to ensure the security of communities in northern Israel," Netanyahu said. The prime minister's remarks were broadcast live by the IDF Press Service.
