FSB: Large-scale terror plot targeting Russian military personnel foiled in Russia

Russia's Federal Security Service (FSB) has announced that it has prevented large-scale sabotage and terrorist attacks planned by Ukraine's special services against Russian military facilities and personnel of the Ministry of Defense, APA reports, citing the Public Relations Center of Russia's FSB.

"The Federal Security Service of the Russian Federation has prevented sabotage and terrorist attacks of an unprecedented scale and level of threat, which Ukraine's special services, with the direct involvement of their Western handlers, planned to carry out against military infrastructure facilities, one of the leading enterprises of the military-industrial complex, as well as military personnel of the Russian Ministry of Defense, including through the use of unmanned aerial vehicles," the statement said.

According to the FSB, the planned attacks were prevented as a result of operational search, counterintelligence, and intelligence measures.
