Defense Industry Minister Vugar Mustafayev met with Chairman of the Board of Türkiye's Baykar company Selçuk Bayraktar, who is on a business visit to Azerbaijan, and Turkish Ambassador Birol Akgün, the Ministry of Defense Industry told APA.
The meeting emphasized that the strategic allied relations between Azerbaijan and Türkiye are developing successfully in all areas, including the defense industry.
It was noted that further expanding cooperation with Baykar is of particular importance for the development of Azerbaijan's defense industry, and that the joint projects being implemented make a significant contribution to strengthening the existing partnership between the two countries.
During the discussions, the parties exchanged views in detail on the further development of military-technical cooperation, the application of innovative technologies, and other issues of mutual interest.
