The implementation of 58 initiatives in the field of digital development has been launched in Azerbaijan, Deputy Minister of Digital Development and Transport Rashad Hasanov said during a public hearing at the Milli Majlis on the topic "Digital Development, Artificial Intelligence and the Protection of Children from Harmful Influences on Social Media Platforms," APA reports.
Rashad Hasanov described the establishment of the Digital Development Council, the approval of its action plan and the determination of strategic objectives as important steps in this direction.
He noted that the action plan covers four main areas: the digitalization of public services, data management and integration, the development of the innovation ecosystem, and the strengthening of cybersecurity.
According to the deputy minister, implementation has begun under 58 identified initiatives. One of the key priorities is to consolidate data stored by various state institutions into a unified state database, as well as integrate and automate public services. He said this approach will increase the efficiency of public administration while ensuring faster and more convenient access to services for citizens.
As an example, Rashad Hasanov cited the automation of data exchange related to birth registration among various state institutions. He added that this enables citizens to receive many services without submitting additional applications.
