Azerbaijani Consul General visits Utah

Los-Angeles. Zaur Hasanov â€“ APA. Azerbaijanâ€™s Consul General in Los Angeles Elin Suleymanov and Vice Consul Elman Abdullayev were on a working visit in Utah, the consulate sources told APA. They met with the Utah Governor Harry Herbert and talked about the dynamic of development of Azerbaijan-U.S. relations, Bakuâ€™s policy toward the regional security and long-time traditions of tolerance in the Azerbaijani society. The Consul General presented to the Utah Governor a book published by the Diplomatic Academy of Azerbaijan about the countryâ€™s foreign policy.

Elin Suleymanov visited the World Trade Center Utah in Salt Lake City, the University of Utah, as well as Utah Valley and Brigham Young universities. In his addressed to the university community, the Consul General talked about the Azerbaijanâ€™s regional policy and its contribution to the relations with the United States.

The Azerbaijani diplomats met with the representatives of the Mormon Church in Utah.
