Presidents of Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan hold one-on-one meeting

The President has today visited Martyrsâ€™ Alley, APA reports. Nazarbayev commemorated heroes who were killed for Azerbaijanâ€™s freedom and sovereignty, laid a wreath on the Eternal Torch monument.

President of Kazakhstan also visited the graves of Heydar Aliyev and academician Zarifa Aliyeva in the Alley of Honors.

Official welcoming ceremony was held following this. Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev welcomed Nursultan Nazarbayev.

Azerbaijani state and government representatives were introduced to Nursultan Nazarbayev and the members of Kazakhstan delegation were introduced to Ilham Aliyev.

Following the official welcoming ceremony Presidents of Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan had one-on-one meeting.

The presidents expressed their satisfaction with the development of the relations between the two countries in various spheres. They underlined the importance of the mutual high-level visits and said the visit will contribute to expanding the relations.

The heads of states exchanged views on bilateral relations, regional and international issues.

The two countries are expected to sign documents covering various spheres. Kazakhstanâ€™s President will also attend the summit of heads of Turkic-speaking states in Nakhchivan on October 2-3.
