Elkhan Polukhov: â€œThe co-chairs will discuss renewed Madrid principlesâ€

The OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs will discuss renewed Madrid principles for settlement of Nagorno Karabakh conflict during their visit to Baku, said Spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Elkhan Polukhov, APA reports. He said the negotiations on the conflict settlement were developed and Azerbaijani Foreign Minister met with the co-chairs within the 64th session of the UN General Assembly. â€œThe regional situation, negotiation process and co-chairsâ€™ upcoming visit to the region were discussed at the meeting. They decided to pay visit in October. We are waiting for that visit. We will express our opinion during the discussions. The minister said our position on the conflict settlement and foreign policy priorities remained steady that the Nagorno Karabakh conflict could be solved only within the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan. It means that the status of autonomy could be discussed only within the territorial integrity of Azerbaijanâ€.
