The Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy to host symposium “New view on Nagorno Karabakh conflict”

Baku – APA. A symposium “New view on Nagorno Karabakh conflict” will take place on September 25-27 at the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy. Consul General of Azerbaijan in Los Angeles Elin Suleymanov, Director of Foreign Policy Programs of the Azerbaijan Diplomatic Academy Fariz Ismailzadeh, Department Chief of the Strategic Research Center under the President Gulshen Hajiyeva, researcher of the Azerbaijan Diplomatic Academy Taleh Ziyadov, head of the International Crisis Group Office in Baku Tabib Huseynov and others will address the symposium, sources at the Azerbaijan Diplomatic Academy told APA. The goal of the symposium is to analyze Nagorno Karabakh conflict in the post-South Ossetian war period and to research impact of this war on changing balance in the region. Turkish-Armenian rapprochement, financial crisis in Russia and its influence on the region will also be on agenda. The symposium will be organized jointly by the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy and Harvard University.
