Moscow officials say no document will be signed in Aktau without participation of Iran

Moscow reacted to Iranian Foreign Minister Manuchehr Mottaki’s statement that Iranian president was not invited to the informal meeting of leaders of Caspian littoral states. According to APA, Russian diplomatic sources told Interfax that thoughts about illegitimacy of the meeting and its contradiction with the Iran’s interests are wrong. “This is a meeting of the leaders of CIS Caspian littoral states. Such meetings were held for many times in different formatsâ€. The sources said there was no document to be signed in Aktau without participation of Iran. “Russian, Azerbaijani, Turkmen and Kazakh presidents have many subjects to discuss at the meetingâ€.
