European Committee for the Prevention of Torture conducts monitoring in Ukraine

Baku. Elbrus Seyfullayev – APA. European Committee for the Prevention of Torture conducts monitoring in Ukraine, member of the monitoring group Latif Huseynov told APA. He said they would monitor detention conditions and treatment of prisoners in jails, psychiatric hospitals and police departments. “We will prepare report on the results of monitoring and submit it to the Council of Europe. The visit will last until September 21â€. Huseynov said the committee members conducted similar monitoring in Azerbaijan last year.
