Official Baku comments on appointment of new U.S. OSCE Minsk Group co-chair

â€œOur position remains unchanged in the process of negotiations. Azerbaijan is ready to continue the negotiations basing on its position,â€ he said.
The diplomat noted that Azerbaijanâ€™s position is the restoration of the territorial integrity.
â€œWe are ready to give the highest status of autonomy to Nagorno Karabakh,â€ he said.
Asked whether the replacement of the co-chair will influence the process the diplomat said:
â€œWe suppose that the US had informed the new co-chair about the process before appointing him. So, there will be no need for the new co-chair to familiarize himself with the process of negotiations. Anyway, the previous co-chair informed the new co-chair about the present situation,â€ he said.
