Dmitry Medvedev to offer Caspian littoral states to sign intergovernmental agreements on gas

At the informal summit of presidents of Russia, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan in Astana on September 13-14, Russian President Dmitry Medvedev will offer the leaders of the littoral states to improve the relations in the field of gas basing on medium- and long-term interstate agreements, APA reports quoting ITAR-TASS. At the meeting with Gazprom CEO Alexei Miller President said in this case the relations will be more long-term. Miller said Gazprom has working practice with the companies of the littoral states, but these relations have been established basing on mainly commercial contracts.
