Azerbaijan’s Neftchi football team progressed to the third qualifying round of the UEFA Conference League after a commanding 2-0 victory against Bosnia and Herzegovina's Zheleznichar in their second-round return match, APA reports.
In the initial match held in Sarajevo, the teams battled to a gripping 2-2 draw, setting the stage for a fiercely intense and competitive showdown in Baku.
Neftchi, with a goal in each half, qualifies for the next stage. Saief and Matias scored the team's goals.
Note that Neftchi's next rival in the following round will be decided based on the winner of the match between Besiktas and Tirana.
