Ganja veteran footballers to appeal to Azerbaijan president

A group of Kapaz (Ganja) club veteran footballers will appeal to Azerbaijan president Ilham Aliyev, the club vice president Mehman Allahverdiyev said. According to Allahverdiyev no one is interested in the three times Azerbaijan champion and Cup winner, gold and bronze medallist of the country championship during the USSR time, the club of the second industry town Kapaz.
â€œWe wonder that even small regions have football clubs. But no one wish to sponsor Kapaz. There are no positive steps despite the city leadershipâ€™s promises to solve the problem. It is regrettable fact that the club of the city with football traditions is out of interestâ€.
Mehman Allahverdiyev said the application to be addressed to the president will ask for help to revive the club. The club president is sure that the president of Azerbaijan will assist them.
The veteran footballer such as Mehman Allahverdiyev, Novruz Azimov, Asim Yolchuyev, Muzaffar Gasymov, Nizami Salahov, Mubariz Huseynov, Fizuli Allahverdiyev, Nuraddin Aliyev, Tahir Mirzayev and Tofiq Aliyev signed the application to be addressed to the president. /APA-sport/ .
