In January–August 2025, tax revenues to the state budget amounted to 11 billion 561.1 million manats, State Tax Service under the Ministry of Economy told APA-Economics.
This figure exceeds the forecast by 5.4 percent.
Compared to the same period in 2024, tax revenues to the state budget increased by 333.6 million manats or 3.0 percent.
Revenues from the non-oil and gas sector totaled 8 billion 434.6 million manats, with the forecast executed at 103.0 percent. Compared to the corresponding period of last year, tax revenues from this sector grew by 690.4 million manats or 8.9 percent. Of the taxes paid, 73.0 percent came from the non-oil and gas sector, while 27.0 percent came from the oil and gas sector.
In addition, during January–August 2025, revenues from compulsory state social insurance contributions amounted to 4 billion 180.4 million manats amid the ongoing “formalization” of employment and wage funds. This represents an increase of 12.2 percent or 455.8 million manats compared to the same period last year. Revenues from non-budgetary organizations grew by 13.2 percent, reaching 2 billion 788.5 million manats.
Unemployment insurance contributions increased by 11.0 percent compared to the same period in 2024, amounting to 148.2 million manats. Contributions from non-budgetary organizations rose by 12.3 percent to 113.2 million manats.
Mandatory health insurance contributions increased by 10.3 percent year-on-year, reaching 727.6 million manats, while contributions from non-budgetary organizations grew by 10.0 percent to 515.0 million manats.
