The positive balance of the recurring revenues amounted to 491 million USD last year, said Director of the Statistics Department of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan, Samir Nasirov during a briefing, APA reports.
He noted that in 2024, the volume of money transfers to the country amounted to 1.083 billion USD.
He stated that during the reporting period, the largest amount of money transfers to Azerbaijan came from Russia (497 million USD), Türkiye (176 million USD), the USA (65 million USD), Georgia (35 million USD), and the United Kingdom (34 million USD).
As for the volume of money transfers sent abroad last year, the top five countries were Türkiye (150 million USD), the USA (60 million USD), Russia (58 million USD), Georgia (45 million USD), and the United Kingdom (28 million USD).
