In January-November of 2023, funds in the amount of 15725,9 million manats were directed to the oil and gas sector of Azerbaijan, or compared to the corresponding period of 2022, 16.5 percent more funds were allocated, the State Statistics Committee told APA Economics.
The volume of investments in the oil and gas sector increased by 24.7 percent, and the volume of funds directed to the non-oil and gas sector increased by 12.5 percent. 9422.3 million manats or 59.9 percent of the used funds were spent on production areas, 5498.6 million manats (35.0 percent) were spent on service areas, and 805.0 million manats (5.1 percent) were spent on the construction of residential houses. 11,463.6 million manats or 72.9 percent of the funds directed to the fixed capital were spent directly on the implementation of construction and installation works.
In the total value of funds directed to fixed capital, own funds of enterprises and organizations accounted for 46.1 percent, budget funds for 40.5 percent, personal funds of the population for 6.3 percent, bank loans for 2.5 percent, and other funds for 4.6 percent.
