In 99 of the currency auctions held by the Central Bank in 10 months of this year, the offer exceeded the demand, said Chairman of the Central Bank, Taleh Kazimov, during the discussion of the draft law "On the State Budget of the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2024" at today's session of the Milli Majlis, APA reports.
He said that the reserves of the CBA increased by 1 billion 248 million US dollars: "The Central Bank implemented buying interventions in the market to ensure exchange rate stability in the currency market. Thanks to this, the CBA's reserves increased by 1 billion 248 million US dollars”.
