Azerbaijan’s positive trade turnover with EU countries sharply increased over seven months

The volume of trade turnover of Azerbaijan with European Union countries amounted to USD 7,495 billion in Jan-July of the current year, which is 28,8% more than compared with the analogous period of 2020, APA-Economics reports citing State Statistics Committee.

The volume of export increased by 36.6% and reached USD 6,230 billion, while import expanded by 0.7% and amounted to USD 1,265 billion.

Therefore, as a result positive balance in the amount of USD 4,965 billion occurred in the first seven months of the year, which means 50.2% of increase compared with the same period of the last year.
