In the January-March period of 2025, a total of AZN 29 billion 892.9 million worth of gross domestic product (GDP) was produced in Azerbaijan, which is 0.3% more compared to the same period of the previous year, APA-Economics reports citing the State Statistics Committee.
It was noted that the added value in the oil and gas sector decreased by 3.8%, while in the non-oil and gas sector, it increased by 2.5%.
The production of GDP was distributed as follows: 37.0% in industry, 10.3% in trade and vehicle repair, 6.8% in transportation and warehousing, 5.8% in construction, 3.1% in agriculture, forestry, and fishing, 2.9% in tourist accommodation and public catering, 1.8% in information and communication sectors, and 21.6% in other sectors and net taxes on products and imports accounted for 10.7% of GDP.
The GDP per capita was AZN 2922.2.
